I tend to stop writing when I’m happier… sort’ve a bitter sweet thing, really. some of my best - i.e. most eloquent, enjoyable to read and write - stuff comes out when I’m amidst utter confusion. ah well… at least my songs are fun (though remain unrecorded).
a few cool things coming up - the big one being I’m headed out to ol’ lone star state next month to meet someone special. we’re going to be crashing the acl festival which I’m pretty excited about - but for only about 4 or 5 of the bands. there’s a lot of gospel, some country, and a bunch of other crap that detracts me a bit but I have a feeling the overall experience will not be tarnished in the slightest from this minor detail. it’ll be my first multi-day music experience. should be a blast.
now the question is… do I take vacation from work, or outright quit? I’m leaning towards the former, due to unknowns about being paid for my accumulated paid-vacation time if I leave before taking it. who knows though… thought I’d be out of here by now. probably end up staying and staying and staying til something amazing just has to be done. we shall see… :)
besides this upcoming thing…. you can catch me feeding my addiction in wow server cho’gall basically every night. can’t stop won’t stop!
